your quote 99
" I'm also finding my energy levels are getting better."

interesting I find my energy levels are getting better the higher my BG reading

Great stuff,Trying my own version of the newcastle aiming at 1000 cals a day and cutting med fats down out were possible, in my first couple of months from diagnosis (feb 2014) i dropped 3st (19 kilo) from 16st down to 13st, Now decided to go for broke, never been on meds controlled myself from start. Im not doing replacement shakes will have a good quality protien shakes once a day as still using weights and wanna keep muscle mass, i have a couple of multi vit pills then real food from that, my meter reading now 2nd week in are real low not had reading above 6.2mmol/l 30mins to 1 hour or 2 hrs or more after food, morning fasting levels always around 4mmol/l and under. Weight can hold for couple of days then drops at most have dropped 13lb in one go/overnight. Hunger can hit u like a train at some points no energy issues like i thought though.
You gotta keep going if you can do 800 cals a day you are doing great, though would keep off the pasties, i can defo empathise with you on this one mate, you can up your calories i took into consideration my job at which im active (nightshift) so settled on 1000 cals apparently the calorie reduction can be suited to you.Best of luck let us know if you get the reversal at the end defo worth a go.
