GP issued BG meters which have 90% cheaper blood sticks , have reported mine to MHRA four of them measuring 30% high .
Tested before walking my dog 11.3 ,got a mile out calf muscles let me down took 3 months get right leg pain free .
Ran tests against my old meter for few days 30% high , GP and Wave Sense in denial contacted PALS ,refered to Diabetic Circuit
Sisters office who were well aware of the problem , sent me a Bayer Meter and some sticks which matched my old meter exactly .
GP refused to fund Bayer Sticks , had to go to Pals and PCT to get sticks for accurate meters .
A friend in Huddersfield had exactly same experience .
