Yes I get anxious too as I think we must keep to the targets but it is so hard sometimes.
You try so hard to get.it right all the time but its not always.possible is it?
So dont worry too much you always can put how you are feeling on timeline!

Hi @Dalejordan_ Unfortunately running high compounds any anxiety over high numbers, the extra glucose in the blood is like running an engine on thick viscous oil, it will slow you down as the body isn't processing this excess load efficiently, this can slow brain function and in turn if you're already anxious over running high then it's a struggle, I get the same too. Do you know why your running high ? Personally I try to keep well hydrated and take extra bolus shots to get it down, failing all other options, gardening or running, both are guaranteed to hit the mark fairly quickly for me.

It was explained to me that in a 'normal' person anxiety can cause blood glucose levels to run high to deal with the 'flight or fight' response. You need to sugar to run from the sabre toothed tiger. BUT it also works the other way round in that high BG levels can make you feel anxious. I can usually tell if I hit the 12+ mark because I start to feel anxious for no reason.
