Hi, i am 56 years old and have had diabetes since 2007 after pancreatitis due to gallstones. The past 3 years have not been the best with lots of calls to my diabetic nurse and i still cannot control my bs.
I am on Novarapid 3 times a day and Levemir once at night, i am having a minimum 3 hypos a week some weeks 5. For a while i was having them around 11pm but after my dose had been changed for about the 20th time i now have them around lunch time. The last call to the nurse she again changed my dose and told me it's the hot weather but im not sure, we went to Cyprus for 3 weeks last year and it was in the 90s and i had one hypo in 3 weeks. I don't want to criticise the nurse but i get the feeling i am being fobbed off and i never seem to have a good spell. Sorry for going on a bit but if anyone has any advice for me i would be greatful
