Can anyone help, I'm struggling. Been high for quite some years and then was placed onto insulin, which is great, i'm out of the woods per say....no more 33.3 and HI's on my meter.... HOWEVER :( - If I start going sub 8.0mmol I'm a) feeling like I have zero energy and b) starting to have wobbly feelings in my legs like I'm gonna collapse - this is not what I was hoping for :/ Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

How long have you been able to get levels under 8.0??

Probably just your body adjusting..

Your body has to get used to new lower levels. Give it a chance. It may take a week or two and then you will not believe how much better you feel.

That sounds normal to me. You probably spent a while being very high, so now that your levels are lower in the 'good' range, your body is freaking out because it's lower than what it's used to. It's typically called a false hypo.

Have a little snack to level you out again, but try to stick below 10 as much as possible. In a week, maybe two, your body will be used to the newer lower levels and you won't feel wobbly anymore. :)
