After 30+ years of being type 1 I'm now on Lantus twice daily and only having Humalog on odd occasions. The blood glucose levels remain in the range between 5mmol/L and 10mmol/L. After a fortnight of this I'm over the moon but can't work out why this change, and only the odd Humalog shot, has happened. Any ideas please?
 
Just wondering if you've checked your basal rate is right, as it could that the Lantus
is covering some of what you eat? Have you changed your diet and gone very low carb or keto?
