As a change of pace, I wanted to see if there were any other "Gearheads" on the forum. Not sure if the term has made its way to the UK, but here in the US it describes pretty much anyone who enjoys just about anything with an engine/motor.

A couple pictures of our daily drivers and one of me getting to ride along in a highly modified Porsche 911 turbo on the Circuit of the Americas Formula 1 racetrack.

The GLK350 is completely stock.
The 335i has a few light modifications and makes about 375 ft/lbs (not sure if the measurement is the same in the UK) of torque to the wheels.

We have a Sea Ray 215. It's been a lot of fun but unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, it's going to have to go. Whoever said that boats were a hole in the water that you poured money into, knew what s/he was talking about .....

5 litre V8 engine based on a GM small block motor. 35 knots (reasonable for a non-racing power boat) and about 1.5 miles per (UK) gallon at full bore, 2.5 - 3 at cruising speed. Not terribly eco-friendly :)

Not big into pics, but I'm a big motorcycle enthusiast.

Currently riding older BMW K-bikes, but I've owned a triumph too.
