I've been given some alfalfa seeds and other than instructions on getting them to sprout, I have no idea what I can do with 'em.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Regards, Tubs.

I think you use them ion salads once sprouted.

Best in salads, they taste a bit like grass. AFAICR they're too mechanically fragile to be worth cooking.

Save a few seeds to plant in the garden, alfalfa (lucerne) is quite pretty and soon becomes established. Where we used to live they turned a field over to alfalfa and took several cuts a year for silage, then when they resowed with other crops alfalfa would still sprout up round the field edges for years.
