Anybody seen a Libre sensor do this?

Been getting highly inaccurate, erratic data from this Libre sensor. Huge gaps in data, time zones have changed numerous times this week and my BG was nowhere near 27 last night.

I'd chuck the sensor in the bin but want Abbott to see how useless this is.Screenshot_20201014-073711_LibreLink.jpg

I've had that a couple of times. The advice I got was if the blanks didn't fill in in24 hours, they would replace it (for the gaps). Erratic readings can be an issue on their own.

If your readings on there are bonkers, it helps to have come finger prick test numbers, from the time of the bonkers numbers to quote (i.e. Libre = x, finger prick = y).

Abbott are usually good at replacing sensors not behaving as they should.

Hi,

I experienced something simalar towards the end of a sensor's life.
But I was scanning using the Glimp app. (At the time.) Wild peaks & troughs not concurring with the meter.
There was a correlation with the scatty readings & my activity at the time. I was drilling alloy tubing clamped in a jig, so there was a fair bit of upper body movement?

Just a wild guess, but I also believe I may have hit muscle tissue when I initially placed the sensor too.

Give Abbott a call. Others have been sent an SAE to return the faulty sensor. (From what I've read.)

It's due for replacement today anyway. Now it's just saying HI, blood sugar out of range on the screen. It's in normal range on BG meter.

Just thought I'd share it with people for info but it's poor for a medical product to do this and if you were an inexperienced diabetic you might make some crazy "corrections" with insulin.

Also, anyone aware of Libre 2 sensors which use Bluetooth? Do we get these in the UK?
