Hey everyone I am new to the board and I wanted to ask I am type1 been diagnosed around 3 years now nearly 4 and I have noticed that when my sugars go high I feel all irritated and stressed and just feel really anxious about everything!
Then when my sugars are low I get grumpy and just do not want to play ball!
Help lol

I think we all feel unwell if we have high bg levels and also feel slightly annoyed when we do, it's much the same when we have a hypo, so yes I can relate to what your saying.

If your on a basal/bolus insulin regime try and get your name down for the DAFNE course (if you've not done so already) as this will help with your bg control and will help reduce the frequency of hyper's and hypo's, the following is an on-line course similar to DAFNE and by all accounts its very good:

Hello ksguk and welcome to the forum!

Yes, that does sound familiar! Unfortunately, although it's much easier said than done, in order to feel well, we have to try to keep our blood sugar readings in the fairly narrow margin that people without diabetes enjoy.

It's worth monitoring your levels frequently to keep as well as possible.

How are you doing? Do you have a record of your most recent HbA1c?

Yep I can be insanely grumpy when I'm either high or low. And at the time I have no idea why. X
