Hi, Some unexplained hypos can be due to delayed stomach emptying (gastroparesis). Just a thought, might be worth asking your diabetes team.

If you get an unusual reading on the FreeStyle Libre reader you should double-check with a finger prick especially if the reading conflicts with how you feel. The finger prick will be more accurate because it checks the blood directly whereas the Libre doesn't. The reading taken from the sensor could be as much as 15% off and because it is reading interstitial fluid rather than blood will not be immediate. What this means in real time is a complicated so I suggest you research this.

Hi thanks for replies talking alot on board with ideas etc was in hospital yesterday with blood pressure over 240-130 I've never seen them that high felt awful, faint pins and needles etc ambulance came took me down, had tests etc just started me on BP tablets as they think kidneys are being effected, said about feeling sick abit now after eating and asked about the diabetic gastroparesis thing but everything these days has to go through a consultant. They let me out at 4am this morning and wanted me back for 8.30 this morning so bit tired to say the least, but the doctors have rang round referred me to kidney team to do a proper investigation and been on to the diabetes team push for me to see a consultant, so hopefully things start moving ABIT now. thanks for replies, trying my best just been needing that extra bit of help but yep definitely an early night for me.
