Not the ones that I've met. Most have taken the opportunity to grasp life with both hands as they know they are mortal (unlike most people). My sample may be unrepresentative.
Yes, most of are able to manage our diabetes back to 'normal', but there is a small group of diabetics who have a harder time, and I feel for them.I'm not angry. For most of us diabetes can be managed and we can live normal lives. I might well be angry if I had Cystic Fibrosis etc and really had something to be depressed about. We are lucky that we have a condition that can be managed back to 'normal'; so many others can't do that.
