Are there any clubs/ social events held for diabetics

I must say I dont know of any, but it's a good idea :idea:
 
I don't know of any social events but Talos I love your avatar - I tried to brush it off my screen! :lol:

There are lots of events/ get together's around the country. Check out Facebook/Twitter etc which are Social networking sites as opposed to the Forum.

We do have a new Events section where you can post details of any event you might want to organise. One thing I would caution is avoid posting personal details unless you want loads of Spam ! Set up a different e-mail address and be careful who you give personal details to.

You could also check out the DUK support site - they seem to go in for meets etc. Personally, any get together's I go to the last thing on my mind is fellow Diabetics - however, whatever 'floats your boat !'. :D

As Cugila suggests, check out DUK support site for local groups in your area or alternatively look in the yellow pages.
