Are these important symptoms? Should I go get tested?

Hi, so I am a freshman in college. I started to get worried when I noticed eye floaters in my right eye last week. I still see it every now and then. However it is in my same eye that I lost long distance focus in over a year ago (for reasons I'm not sure) possibly from injury. However, this week I notice that I keep getting hit with fatigue. I slept for 10 hours last night yet 2 hours later I felt like I had to go back to sleep. I also keep getting the sense that I need to sleep at 7-8. I don't know if this is because of finals week (though the worst of it already ended on Wednesday). I also pee a lot more than everyone else. Though I seem to drink more than others. Yesterday I drank a somewhat big cup of water but for the next 2 years I kept peeing every 12 minutes which seemed odd. Even before that I pee a lot, but like I said I think I drink more than usual. I gained a lot of weight my freshman year and I am definitely overweight which is what is worrying me. I was planning on fixing my health but I'm worried that damage is done. If I go to a doctor, it'd be the campus doctor but I'm leaving on Thursday so I don't know how testing for diabetes works. Is it better to get tested on monday or should I wait till next week? I heard some tests are over a course of weeks? How accurate will the test be if it is just a sample of my blood? Any other advice is welcomed I am stressed out.

Hi @Ramyzee If you're concerned about your health, it's always worth seeing a doctor. You could see the campus one and he or she may do a simple finger prick test (immediate result).

There are lots of causes of peeing a lot - a urinary infection for one - so it's best to get checked.

Try not to stress. If you're finals are over, you should be relaxing. Take it easy and see the campus doctor for your own peace of mind.:)

Since you don't own a meter you could always ask a local chemist if they can give you a random test. Lloyds Pharmacy do it and some others also but any chemist shop should be able to tell you where to get it done. This will get you over the change of doctor issue if/until you see the new one.
