Hello! I was just wondering if blood sugars would still rise if you got covid -19 but presented no other symptoms. Is your body still fighting it?

Has anyone tested positive with asymptomatic covid? Might be a useful signal if blood sugars still increase even if you don't feel poorly.

Hi there - from what I have heard from t1’s with COVID their levels have been pretty well controlled. If you have an infection your levels will rise as the body produces glucose as a response - however with a viral infection such as COVID you will feel intuitively if something isn’t right so rising bg levels aren’t necessarily an indication.
