Hi folks I am looking for some reassurance regarding HFLC Diet and atherosclerosis. I developed unstable angina at the end of January this year and was admitted to hospital where they inserted two stents. The angina pain stopped and I am due to go back for a further stent in April.
Cutting down carbs has reduced my average blood sugar to 6.4 since coming out of hospital, My average before that was 7.8. I would like to know if the High fat side of the diet is doing my heart more harm than good ?
There seem's to be a conflict of opinion the more I try to research on the subject.
I would love to know your thoughts especially if you have Atherosclerosis and pursuing HFLC !!
Thanks Gunner10
