Atorvastatin

My DN put me on these statins 2 weeks ago and I'm taking one 20mg tablet last thing at night at bedtime. Does anyone know if having a stomach ache and feeling nausea are a side effect? There's been 3/4 occasions now that I've woken up in the night feeling like this having gone to bed feeling fine. Stupidly, I threw away the information leaflet when I got the tablets after reading it and can't remember what it said! Doh

I would stop taking the statin and go back and see your DSN or gp and report the symptoms.
 
Yes. Exactly the same symptoms. Same tablet. I put the effects down to me low carbing. I'm stopping taking the tablet. I was put on simvastatin 3 years ago and just stopped taking it. Recently, new doctors and heart problems was told I was a silly girl to listen to all the negative stories about statins and was put on atorvastatin. No more preventative **** for me.
