Automated repeat prescription

I can't remember how much extra it is / was for the service, it cost $5.00 delivery fee by the pharmacy lady who does the deliveries.

It's been free delivery since the covid outbreak, as the federal government subsidises it at present.

Meh! I can't spend or take money with me when I'm dead. :D

The thing is, it all depends on the people working in your particular pharmacy.
I switched to a specialised pharmacy for my diabetes stuff, but in the rare cases I need something after a GP appointment I can be almost certain the regular pharmacy messes up, no way I'd trust them without triple checking anything.

I trust them as they have been there a long time as they own the pharmacy,

Any mistakes that have occurred have been from me, running out of scripts is the most common.
 
I'm in Derbyshire and my surgery uses The Medicines Order Line. There's also an app. When I get to the last strip of tablets, I phone and list the things I need or answer yes/no as she runs through the script. She sends the request to the doctor who sends it to the pharmacist and I can either collect or get it delivered (foc). It works well, but is slower than usual - she tells me that it's because she's working from home (?). My insulin dose is not regular so I usually need to order that separately.
There is an automated system, Electronic Repeat Prescriptions, but I haven't tried it. upload_2022-5-29_9-9-41.png
