Does anyone know how or where I can obtain a second (spare) autopen 3.0ml x 2unit. I have asked the doctor and chemists but they tell me that here , in Australia, you can only get a new one once the old one is broken. Surely that can't be true? Thanks

Hi Nan,
I would ask your Dr for a spare pen with the argument of "incase yours breaks when the Drs/chemist is shut" and you need to inject, my son has 2 Humapens incase of this eventuality, and no questions were asked.

No idea about healthcare provision of pen devices in Australia, but, as spares, I always keep a syringe in each pen case, in case the pen device fails.
