My brother had his Diabetic check up today and he was informed that all patients on Avandia will be put onto alternative drugs, he has been told that he is likely to be put on januvia, the alternative, a sulfonylurea wouldn't be suitable because his sugars are well controlled.
He has been told to expect a confirmation letter with the month.
