It will be helpful to keep a diary to take to your specialist. You need to finger prick four times a day, rather than just rely on your Libre. So record your before breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bedtime blood sugars, insulin dosing and food, for the specialist to have a look at and make suggestions.
The DAFNE targets are 5-7 mmol/L waking, 4-7 mmol/L before meals, 5-9 mmol/L before bed. This should give you an HbA1c between 6%-7% three months later.
