Aviva Teststrips

Hi Everyone who uses Aviva testrips in their bg meter, make sure that the UK code 111 is on the teststrips container and not 112 which is for European bg meters (Germany). The 112 code will produce inaccurate bg results so have a look. If any are found, take them back to the pharmacy that dispensed them so that they can be returned to the company(s) involved in the distribution chain.
 
Well......I am not best pleased as this type of thing should not be going on.
Well I live in the US which apparently is why I have 113 coded test strips. It's good to know that that's what the number means. I learned something new.

And I agree that this shouldn't happen to you.

Seems that pharmacies have started importing from cheaper sources. Always dangerous...

All turned out well in the end. Strips were exchanged for correct code but just shows that competing for best price can sometimes go wrong
