12-20What an awful experience! How high are you tesing, if I may ask?
Well I passed out because they were to low and only on 2 units so I'll be going back on it next week. Probably on short acting as currently am only on long actingHello @Jlewis12351996
Sorry to hear about your hypo, can I ask how they have justified taking your insulin off you ? I am of course assuming you are an insulin dependent diabetic or type 1 ? if so they are playing Russian roulette with your life and this needs addressing urgently by complaining to the ward manager if you are still in hospital.
Nothing they've never suggested a thingFrom previous posts you have had low sugars before. What have your team suggested on previous occasions and do you have a clear diagnosis?
Have they even told you which type of diabetic you are? T1 (presumably still on honeymoon), T2 or LADA????Nothing they've never suggested a thing
Speak to a doctor or go to A&EAbsolutely tired of this now. Went in today for scheduled appointment hoping to get my insulin sorted after having a blood test last week. Turns out nurse is off sick yet again she was also off the previous week. But she still phoned me up later and told me to come in next week and even though the majority of my levels were high she focused on one time they were 3 because I had been sick with a bug that day so didn't eat and said now they want to put me in hospital for an observation which could be next month. Though my blood sugars are now constantly in the 15-20s but no one seems to care. I genuinely don't know what to do now I am feeling terrible I am constantly tired now and going to the toilet all the toilet but they're just ignoring what I'm saying
