Folks,
I have an Accu-Chek Aviva Nano and I am getting about 30% test failures due to alarm E-7.
Costing me a fortune as I have to buy my own strips :x
Manual states an electronic error occured or rarely a used strip was inserted (No way!)

Is it time to use a new meter????.

Regards Steve.

Hi Steve.

I would phone Accu-Chek Helpline tomorrow and ask their advice. If the meter is faulty it will be replaced for free.

Ken,

spoke to the help line. They said they would send me a new box of strips and stated that the strips are very prone to condensation. There are only 10 out of 50 left in the pot so (40 strips) worth about £8 at ebay prices!. He didnt offer a new meter, but I'll see if they send me one anyways!.

Thx for the info.
:D
Regards Steve.
