Hey Ladys.. I am new here… origin I am from Germany but I just moved to Cambridge because my husband is working here. He is also German. I am pregnant and in 2 weeks our small girl will be with us  I wanted to ask whether you have here the tradition like we have in Germany. After the birth we send baby cards to our friends and family… You do the same? I really want to do it but I am not sure where can I print the cards?? Could you recommend some print shop? I found this http://www.overnightprints.co.uk/postcards and I think it’s very cheap and good but ofc I would like to hear your suggestions.. thank you very much and good luck with everything! :)

Hi Emmi! Congratulations on your pregnancy - you must be so excited:). Re-your question: when my nephew was born 13 weeks ago we got a card from my sister in law just like you would do in Germany. Other friends who had kids haven't sent cards. I think it depends on the parents really. I think it's a nice thing to do and whenever I am going to be a mum in the hopefully not too far away future I will be sending baby cards to family & friends.

I found these ones here: http://www.optimalprint.co.uk/birth-announcement (I think they have a 50% off offer at the moment), http://www.snapfish.co.uk/snapfishuk/fe/photo-cards/baby-photo-cards, http://www.photobox.co.uk/filters/cards?theme=baby, http://www.funkypigeon.com/Pages/Main.aspx?branding=newbabycards&majcat=40&mincat=209&country=UK

I am from Germany by the way as well but live in the UK for almost 7 years already? Are you planning to stay? Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well and I have my fingers crossed for your baby's birth:)xx

No don't worry, I just wanted to have your opinions about it...
