Back from first eye exam!

Hello all,

Just wanted to say that I had my first eye check today as only just diagnosed and I am very happy to say that all is well...I have been worrying about this since diagnosed but was pleased to hear all is good. Do not have to have another check until next April. So important to remember to have regular checks.

Congrats, that must be a load off your mind :D

I haven't been for my first eye check yet... I plan to get it done soon. It's all a lot to get used to, isn't it. I have known all my life that I was at risk of diabetes but I just put it in the too hard basket. Then one day it caught up with me, and here I am.

I'm enjoying this forum, great information and support.
