After being diagnosed as T2 back in February I knew I had some work to do to get myself back in the normal range. My hba1c was 6.7 after a long time of being just outside being full-blown diabetic. I was put on Metformin and had already been doing exercise.
Since November last year I've lost almost three stone in weight and had a blood test last month and my hba1c was 6.0. I had another test yesterday and results came back at 5.7. Very pleased with that but it doesn't mean I stop exercising and eating well. I need to keep doing whatever I am doing to keep the numbers low. Putting the effort in obviously does work.
