Back to school and not looking forward to breakfasts!

Sounds like the Spanish cold Tapas.
Always a good snack when I'm there, but obviously easy on the bread!

A lot of those, hot and cold, are low carb, and simple to prepare.
I love tapas. We found an excellent tapas restaurant in Norwich recently. It was almost as good as being in Madrid!

Scrambled egg made with double cream and smoked salmon ribbons goes down a storm in our house. Normally, up with the larks in term time, turn oven on, feed dog, put sausages in oven, make pack ups and get kids ready. Put on eggs(poached), make tea and coffee, pour milk and then take lot to table. I now have it down to a fine art!

Do you have access to a Lidl? They sell high protein rolls, they are triangular and in the baking section. Half of one is only 5 carbs. They are lovely toasted and spread with butter or peanut butter. This is what I have when I have time for breakfast at school. Also very nice with a sliced boiled egg on top.

I had a lidl roll and Brie today, so have found them :-) nut free at school sadly, so can't have peanut butter :-(
