I went to my doctors appointment last week and my consultant was horrible nit as in mean but as she did a bad job I was there with my dad and we told her what we had been doing and my dad had messed around with my carb metre a lot he had changed things on there one of the things was an exercise option we had set it to give me more insulin when I'm lounging about but she said NO put it as stress but we thought this was stupid because what if I did have stress I would need but since there were two exercise options it was okay but apparently not also my dad had changed something that had helped my blood sugars be a bit better as they were really high and she put it back to how it was and spent half an hour explaining to my dad how it worked when she didn't really know herself as she had to restart explaining 3 times which also brings me to that she never spoke to me and I'm the one with diabetes she spoke to me when I walked in once when I was there and then when I walked out she also never told me my hba1c so I didn't know where to improve or what to do and from the start of the session we asked if we could see where I was on the pump list and she said she would tell us well... That never happened and my it was so frustrating because all she did was tell me to do two doses of levimer a day which my dad suggested thank you for listening too my rant and I'm done

Sorry to hear you had such a bad time. Maybe you could write a letter to the consultant, listing the reasons why you felt what your dad was doing helped and for her to clarify why she thought it didn't/wouldn't. You may want to let her know you felt ignored and that you left without her addressing some questions you raised.
It is the most frustrating and irritating part of having an illness/condition where you wait ages to see a "specialist" and come out annoyed. It happens all to frequently.
Your GP should get the result of your HBA1C so you could ask him/her for that

Hey, this is Jasmine1616. I think we have talked before. If you can dm me, that would be amazing.
