Hi,
I had a hypo yesterday after breakfast (felt shaky all of a sudden and tested at 2.3mmol). I treated the hypo and symptoms subsided but it took longer than normal (normally okay after 5 minutes, this took more like 25 minutes).
I then carried on with my day as usual and went to my parents for dinner. For the whole day my levels were completely normal but I was in a really bad mood for no reason. I was impatient with my kids, picking at my other half for no reason at all, being genuinelly grumpy and if I am completely honest I felt like an emotional wreck (literally felt like locking myself in a room and having a good cry). This is so not like me and the only thing that was different yesterday was the big hypo in the morning.
Is this something that happens if you have a bad hypo or was I just in a weird mood for some other unknown reason. I does not happen if I have a minor hypo either. If anyone has any ideas, thoughts on what to do next time I'd appreciate it as I feel like **** today as I ruined the day for my family.
Thanks
JC
