Bagpuss was one of MY TV favourites, particularly because of the music. Sad.

Madeleine the rag doll is now Music Professor at Newcastle University

I loved all of those when my kids were growing up,my favourite was the clangers and the soup dragon.

I love the clangers too and I'm sure I understand everything they say.I'm a Czech speaker and understand the little mole too.( he's not a Postgate cartoon) those Clangers are so inelligent!
Bagpuss to is great. Our resident domestic tiger is like him.

Loved them all. Great fun with the clangers and bagpuss and of course noggin the nog and the great welsh favourite of Ivor the engine.

And me, my mum loved Ivor because she went to teacher training college in Wales (Caerleon) and the accents made her nostalgic!

i loved bagpuss, but for me my favourites had to be Trumpton and Camberwick Green along with Mr Benn (i must of been a bit of a tomboy!)
