Hi all, I am a newly diagnosed T2 diabetic, I really want to completely change my diet , one of my problems is I have a really bad sweet tooth. My mum is a great baker and has offered to bake some healthy biscuits/cake bars if we can find any that are healthy. Would appreciate any tried and tested recipes. Thanks
Ps. Still feeling a bit lost with all this at the minute.

This site is useful. I bake the cakes in a 7" square tin, cut into 16 square and freeze individually. 1 a day for when I really can't resist.

Try not to give in to your sweet tooth too often or it will always call out to you. You have be master of it, not it bossing you about.
You will get there.

I like recipes from simplysohealthy.com . I recently made their chocolate donuts, half the recipe in a mini donut pan and half in a muffin top pan. I don’t think you’d confuse them with ”real” chocolate donuts in a blind taste test but they were delicious, all my guests, diabetics and non diabetics alike said they enjoyed them. I’ve even used them with orange flavoured sugar free jelly and 95% chocolate to make a kind of Jaffa cake.
