Does any other guys have trouble with this? It’s becoming a reoccurring problem for me and I don’t really want to go down the surgery route

So any advice on this would be appreciated

I would strongly recommend you seek expert advice.
You may find a lot of ideas on what to do to help alleviate the problem but from my own experience seeing a specialist is the No1 way to go.
Surgery and the not wanting to go down the route is obviously a daunting thought but it’s nowhere near as bad as it sounds. Fortunately there’s many more options to try before surgery maybe required. You just need to make sure you take the right option.

I “ googled” for 6 months +.
Went to see GP then specialist and everything was sorted in 6 weeks.
Not balanoposhitis for me but the end result was circumcision, uncomfortable but worth it in the end.

How are your blood sugar readings generally?
I had this problem at the age of 7 and was given Betnovate. By the time I sorted my diabetic control out I never had this problem again. Try not to panic - it could be much better than you fear!

Empagliflozin makes you pee out sugar, making you more susceptible to thrush.
Have you considered talking about changing to a different medication with your doctor, or changing your diet to lower your blood glucose without the side effects of the flozin?
