hi i have heard alot of people refer to bang head on here what is it and is it to do with blood sugar sorry if i sound a bit dim

@david0779 . I've missed that term on the forum. I await more information like yourself.
Head banging......... well that's a different thing. I could definitely explain that, but I doubt AC/DC, Judas Priest and the likes have anything to do with diabetes.:)

Can you link to a post on here? Not familiar with the term apart from :banghead:

thats the one banghead thought
it was to do with hi or low sugar since my blood sugar as been more stable when ever it goes upto 12 mmol or above i get bad heads aches

Short for "It's like banging your head against a brick wall!".

Not specific to diabetes, just about problems getting people to listen to you and take notice.

@david0779 - I think some people develop a banging head (horrid headache) when their bloods are ruuning high and/or low, or if their levels change very fast.

This!

A example: I may as well bang my head against the wall as it's a waste of time talking to <<<Insert HCP here>>> about my problem.
Or like bang head on desktop / keyboard when software goes in opposite direction to that needed at the time.

thanks guys i had some idea just wanted clarification weather it was a blood sugar thing ljke i said i had quite high bg for ages above 12mmol not a problem since ive got it between 5.5 and 7.5 for a while if it does go above 12 the head ache comes normally if it jumps from 5.5 6 ish to 12 mainly over christmas having slipped a bit with cake
may be its not a diabetes thing maybe a sugar thing haveing cut it out for a few months then suddenly earing cakes
