Just seeing with the warm weather how much people reduce their basal / bolus. As I seem to be going low 3 hours after I take my bolus over the last couple of days

On MDI I would have to reduce my basal insulin by around 2 units in the warm weather and increase it again in the cold months, I've had to reduce my basal rates on my pump in the last few weeks so its following a similar pattern.

Funny enough I was thinking about you on the weekend and your trouble with a high postprandial spikes, I was re-reading Pumping Insulin and the author talks about using a Super Bolus, if you've got the book look it up as its quite interesting what they say.

Hi noble head, thanks for that, yeah I have been looking through the book as well, and now waiting 60 minutes after the breakfast bolus, and seems to be working better. Might try the super bolus and see how I get on with that and report back? Thanks for the help

No problem Topher, I'm intrigued to see the results of a Super Bolus so good luck :)
