How often do people do a basal test? And how do you go about making changes? When I was on pen injections, I was told that I had to give it at least 48 hours after making a change to make another change and just wondering if this is the same for pumps? I have been testing my basal a few times over the last week as a few things made me think it was a little too high and I have found that I keep waking up hypo

I wait 48 hours after a change if I can but if I was getting very high or low BG I would change again sooner. I was told to test BG 3 times a night but I tested every hour to give me a really accurate picture. Now I only test my basal if my sugars seem like I need to. Hate doing the overnight one though as you wake up shattered with all the broken sleep! Good luck
