A good read on type 1 will read type 2 later and I totally agree with this quote :-

"Captioning a plate of food with #diabetes is not helpful.

Firstly one for T2 diabetics.

Much the same fare as in previous articles on Diabetes.
Amputations, gastric banding solution, blah blah blah,,,,,
Lifestyle causing it. sweets and fizzy drinks, obesity etc,

Now one for T1 Diabetics that is more useful:

EDIT: @Administrator this may be better placed in the News thread. or split between T1 and T2 threads

Oh dear, Aunty Beeb has been busy today. As well as the two articles I posted at the start, I have to add the following articles that chant the same old mantra/s :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-37720610

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-37567101

To be fair these may be reprints of other ones I reported on recently, but at least we have them all in the same place now. But they are dated as for today;

And Diabetes was featured on the BBC Ten O'Clock News too this evening! I had to switch the TV off.

As well as Inside Story covering the same topix. Available on iPlayer.

One day the penny will drop, the LC message will have its day eventually. There is too much anecdotal evidence bulding up and a Credit Suisse investment report to boot so they will have to take notice soon. Sky News had a report on the Newcastle 8 hour diet today as well, so that will help offset the BBC bias hopefully.
