Hi, has anyone been using the BD microfine needles for a couple of years? I have and I have found recently that they have been really hurting putting in and injecting to the point I'm scared and tense up to inject :'-(

Do you rotate your injection sites? When this happens I change sites. For example, from my tummy to my buttock.

Hey, I use the be Viva 4mm X 0.23 mm. I've only been injecting for a few months and use my abdomen for my Novo and legs for my lantus. I do find even now that every so often it hurts, even when cycling areas. I think it may be blunt needles just generally due to mass production. It makes you tense then over think it. Just my observation. Hope you're ok and having a lovely Christmas x

Hi, I do and I dont, my top half of my belly is so easy to get to I tend to do it more frequently there.... and I find with my thighs they seem to be tense/hard not loose/flabby i don't have muscler legs either, but maybe I am tensing up :/

Hi Ive been using them for years no problem , i change everytime and i rotate. I have noticed the quality of the needle has diminished in this batch of needles ...every jab hurts and wont just slide in ...im going to get a change next time im in clinic . They might be the same needle in name but maybe theyve changed at manufacture ..the quality isnt the same AND it shouldnt hurt going in!
