Anyone having problems with the needles for the pens , (novorapid & lantus) continously getting dodgy needles that won't work

I used BD Autoshield Duo 30g 5mm Safety Needles. Occassionally had a few (not that many) which didn't appear to work with pressure activation. Not too sure which needles your using or the issue your appearing to have with them. BD Duo needles are supposed to be universal however appear to fit the novarapid pens better. for echo pen 6 (using fiasp cartridges) never had an issue, which has simular activate time to novarapid alongside appeared to work a touch faster (for some reason or another)

I’ve been using BD needles for years only problem I get is them getting blocked as I don’t change them every time I inject.

I use Gluco/Rx fine point 4mm on bothe Trujeo and Trurapi (the replacement for Novorapid) It says they are a universal fit. Never had a problem using them I do replace each injection

Hi
I use the nanopass 4mm needles.
My surgery tried changing my prescription to the BD ones a few years ago as they were cheaper but i tried a few and wasn't happy with the quality compared to the nanopass so changed back.
I am dead lucky as my GP surgery is one of the best in the country according to the CQC.

I wish you well

Tony
