Bedtime drink

I have been on the LCHF diet for 3 weeks now and love the food that I can eat after suffering years of hunger on a low fat diet given to me by my surgery dietitian. I believe the low fat diet was in part responsible for my pre diabetes as I lost no weight, was always hungry and didn't like the range of tasteless food. Now on the LCHF diet I am never hungry and yet am losing weight, however there is one thing that I really miss. A good comforting hot bedtime drink, especially these cold evenings.
I have tried unsweetened almond milk, Bournville cocoa powder and Stevia and when frothed it looked lovely but it actually tasted absolutely disgusting.
Does anyone have any ideas for a warming night time drink that is suitable for this diet please and tastes nice as well
( I quite like unsweetened almond milk with a small amount of Options white chocolate drink but am aware there is 6.9 carbs and 5.7 sugar so really could do with an alternative)

I just melt a couple of squares of 85% chocolate in hot milk - don't have often but it doesn't affect my bs - you can add a touch of your preferred sweetener if you choose - many on here do the same but with cream instead of milk - I am not keen on cream hence the milk

Indo hot lemon water or tea. Not sweet but warming and relaxing.
To me cocoa powder and dark chocolate are two different animal. Have you tried unsweetened vanilla almond milk? Try that and add some spices like cardamom , nutmeg, cinnamon. Very warming.

Camomile tea is warming and soothing - and has no carbs - or any other herbal or fruit tea.

Green & Blacks cocoa, erythritol/stevia sweetener and full fat double cream with an optional sprinkle of cinnamon. (Replaces my Ovaltine which I had for years as my bedtime drink before I became T2.

You may need to watch Stevia because there are apparently 2 different types of extract and one (stevioside) can have an unpleasant to some aftertaste, and the other more expensive Stevia Rebaudioside A (aka "Reb A") doesn't, so says my Google research...

Many thanks to all it looks like I have quite a few options to try out, yummy

Does it have to be sweet?

IF yes, I use @Robbity 's hot choc recipe.
but if you are OK with savory, then Bovril, with or without a dash of cream is a fably warm and comforting drink.

Personally, I use the lc hot choc as a snack/treat earlier in the day, since I find it a bit filling at bedtime - but then maybe that is more about the size of my cups, than the drink itself. ;)

I'm rereading Volek & Phinney at the moment and was reminded of the advice to drink broth if you are going seriously LCHF.

The nearest I have to broth is a chicken stock cube which, although a little herby, made a satisfying and warming night time drink.

BG was surprisingly low at 4.2 this morning. I'm not linking the two without further evidence, though. :)

I suppose really I was looking for a substitute for my ' snuggling in bed with my book and a hot creamy chocolate drink' but that was my old lifestyle and accept that things have to change. I must admit that the stock cube sounds interesting, maybe not as luxurious as creamy chocolate but a possibility. I have also ordered some fresh double cream to come with my home delivery Tesco shop tomorrow and thought about mixing some blended fresh raspberries into this. I wonder how this would mix with a little unsweetened almond milk ( experiment coming up methinks ) I think it is trial and error but am sure I will find something to fill the gap while I do some bedtime reading.
