Might not seem like it now but you've been fortunate to being picked up on the bottom rung of the diagnostic ladder.Hi everyone . I am waiting for the results of my second blood test..the first one read 49 hba1c.
That's a bit high alright, what meds are you on ?I found low carb initially worked for me but now I am seeing my sugars rise again. My numbers are high on wakening at 12. I ate 2 boiled eggs, some 5% fat greek yoghurt with cinammon and had 2 cups of tea with milk and it went up to 13 when I tested 2 hours later. Any advice please? I have read that apple cider vinegar before bed can help with higher sugars in a morning
I take no meds but got a 7 2 hours after lunch today so I think my new HITT regime and slight tweaking of my diet is beginning to work again hopefully! That's a bit high alright, what meds are you on ?
Has your doctor ever checked your insulin levels ?
I dont know what caused them to be high. Research suggested no carbs in my evening meal and HIIT exercise. Had a 7 2 hours after lunch today so very pleased. I have tweaked my foods slightly too by logging my meals and checking the carbs I am consuming. Its amazing how they add upThose numbers are high considering you had (by your description) a low carb breakfast. What caused them to be as high as 12 in the first place?
Was it too many carbs at dinner (did you test 2hrs after first bite of dinner)? Or is your Dawn Phenomenon really that aggressive?
