I went to see my nurse at the doctors surgary, as i get weighed every 3 months!
As i am overweight, i just found out that i have lost 15 pounds, even though i am happy I was warned by the nurse that it is unhealthy to lose too much weight at once!
less than three months ago she was nagging me that i need to lose weight! now she says i am losing too much!
talk about mixed signals, i went shopping today with my fiancee! we went to look for mothers gift for my mum! as i bought his mothers day gift last week! I took everybody's advice and bought some lucozade tablets, after walking around for over a hour, i noticed i was starting to feel weird like i did the other day!
i noticed the weird signs,
I am glad that i have lost weight! i just hope i get answers tomorrow afternoon from the doctor when i see her!

Well done
As long as you keep in control I wouldn't worry too much about mixed signals :)

Thanks i feel good about the weight loss, just the nurse scared me a bit! i had a eating disorder as a child! I feel good about it!
my fiancee says he is so proud of me losing the weight!

well done on the weight loss :D let us know what happens at the drs and good luck x

15 pounds in 3 months is not too much!!You can happily lose two pounds a week without damaging yourself.Once you have lost two stone you begin to slow down anyway. If you lose one pound a week for a year that's 3stone 10 pounds.if I do that I will reach my personal target weight.will still be overweight but do not want to end up blowing away in the wind!

Hi thanks everybody,
i am glad that i have lost the weight! i feel better about myself silly really something as simple as that!
i will let everyone know what happens at doctors tomorrow!

Losing weight does make you feel better, especially when you start to see the difference yourself or,better still, when others notice the difference.

My finacee has been saying for last few weeks that i looked like i had lost weight! i said i don't think so!
but he was right! i have lost a little weight! got some to go, well alot to go!

I have this theory about medics.
They like to show they are in control, not you
So if you don't lose weight, they nag and if you do and it's without their "help and guidance", they nag.
As Sue says, 1 to 2 ponds a week is fine so a stone in 3 months is about right. I who have lost 2 1/2 stone and been stuck for months, am jealous
Well done!

I think the nurse has demonstrated her cluelessness. It's possible to lose quite a lot of weight quite quickly, often water weight, after which the process may slow down some. You're doing good so far!

Wow..well done. I have lots of weight to lose too, but I am getting there. Good luck with it and get that boyfriend to treat you to a new wardrobe :D
