Hi everybody,
I had my doctors appointment, apparently my blood test got ruined as they dropped the canister that my blood was in at the lab!
My new doctor, has ordered a glucose resitence test, the one where you fast then have to drink a glucose drink,
she was really helpful, she was easy to talk to and she listened to all my worries, she has said that she thinks i have type 2, and she wants to test me as much as possable and get answers before any damage is done, that cannot be undone!
she has written me a prescripton for test strips and lancets. she said when the diagnoisis comes in then she can write the test sticks and lancets up as permenant!
She is going to get me a poidiarist, as i am getting numbness and tingling in my feet!

hya sandy,
it seems like u have a very good gp there, we see all to often how type 2 dont get enough strips etc,
let us know how u get on with the glucose testing :D

HI sue,
i intend to hang onto the doctor, thing is it is now the nurse playing up about finding the right amount of time to do a glucose intollerence test!
if it is not one thing it is another thing, the doctor wants it done now not waiting a few weeks,
had to get up 4 times last night for a wee!
i fell down the stairs and badly brusied my foot! i have been having pins and needles in my feet for about a week real bad! morning blood sugar is usually between 7 and 8,
if i go out for a walk then my blood sugar drops real bad! after having a chicken stir fry home done the healthy way, i finally have got my blood sugar up to 6.9 going to test in a little while again!
i have noticed that my mouth and tongue are getting very dry these last two days! and my eyesight is very blurred!
