Forgot to say that lagers and lighter beers such as corona don’t give the acid reflux

Hi ya all my dad type 1 always has whisky’s with Diet Coke or zero and hasn’t had issues with lvls going higher as I am new to the game I can’t say with my own experience but I have noticed with bitters and a lot of ales now I will get a lot of acid reflux later on in the night don’t know whether that’s down to the diabetes or not

I used to get bad acid reflux, but since I quit drinking it has totally disappeared: I wouldn't be surprised if the ales are setting you off.

Yeah I stopped a while ago and joined the whisky club and on an occasion the gin and t club

I was advised by the clinician, beer 1/2 bolus, wine don't bother.
