Hi, I had my bloods taken at the surgery this week and the nurse booked an appointment for two weeks time and told that if I get a letter asking to come in, just ignore.

Today I have been sent a letter from the surgery telling me to get them done in a month and at the clinic in the hospital not the surgery.

I have had diabetes for 4 years now and this has never happened before, and what with being a bank holiday my backside is turning somersaults, So is this normal, can anyone advise. Oh and I have never had any issues since first diagnosed.

Thanks
Steve

I would give the surgery a call on Tuesday just to confirm.

I had bloods taken, but had to wait a week after my visit to the doc because they are only supposed to be taken at a minimun, at 2 month intervals (the doc showed me the warning that came up on the screen when he printed out my test requests)

It could be just to re-check your results ....

They lost my first set and phoned to get me in for a new set.

Don't worry Sheriff, it won't add a single moment to your life:)

Just chase after the BH and ask for specifics.

From what you've said you've been doing fine this past 4 years:)

Everything in the Drs goes wrong for me, paperwork wise .. they may just have mixed up / messed up somewhere with your paperwork.. don't stress, until you know you have something to stress about :nurse:
