bendrofluazide

Hi Carol, yes one of the side effects of Bendroflumethiazide is that it can cause hyperglycaemia.Have you discussed this with your doctor?

Believe it or not I was given the wrong test result and my HBa1C was actually 7.3 not 15.5 as was told me by the receptionist. It was abit higher but did cover Christmas and quite a few birthdays so I was quite happy as my blood glucose at the GP was then 5.3. Will be extra vigilant next time when asking for my results!

Hi carol.

I always ask for a print out - then I have a written record to refer back to.
