The new series starts tonight and it's in my home town....

Dreading watching it, there was huge uproar when it was being filmed, the housing estate it was filmed on isn't the best but I can tell by the advert they have made it look worse than it is.

Only a year ago Ashley Banjo was here with Diversity doing a TV show about bringing a town together and the great spirit the community had, now this!

Hi, tbh, I never watch programmes with titles like that. I have no interest, even though when I was out of work, I was on benefits and I hated every minute of it and felt ashamed at times and down trodden, and my self esteem was rock bottom, not a nice place to be and trying to bring up a child as well. Benefits are for people who really need them, it's a hand up for a bad times, not a continual hand out.
Ashley Banjo is a fine upstanding young man and someone I admire.

I won't be watching.

Best wishes RRB

It was done in a nearby town for the last series. And it caused all sorts of local problems.

This particular area of Merseyside is a hot spot for high unemployment and the lack of industry and real jobs is so low, that there has been a problem for many decades.

I don't think it helps 'promote' the real needy and poor in this country. It also doesn't help the disabled and elderly who are so dependant on the small insignificant sums they get.

But if it gets some cheats, who shouldn't be claiming, that's a different story. But I'm led to believe, they are few and far between.

Not got any intention of watching it, We get a bad enough rap in Teesside as it is.
