do you get your test strips on prescription or do you have to buy them yourself?
Hi Ian, You may have already made your choice since you posted this question three weeks ago. It seems to me that, because of your work, Accuchek Mobile would be easier, so that you don't need to fiddle with test strips. I hope that your GP is prescribing cassettes for the Accuchek, or test strips.
The instructions to change the lancet everytime really only apply to health care people as they need to change between each person. If its just you, you can reuse the needle many times. Saves both time and money

I use this pharmacy online. Easy registration and I think delivery is free for orders over £25 I can’t remember as I always order 3 boxes of strips together. I have been using them to order my glucose nexus RX strips since June. I was also going to look into the Libre cost from them. My latest order for the strips is on the way but I just checked and their website today and it is down right now as they are moving premises. I just placed an order last week on Thursday. I have confirmation that my order is on it’s way. They have been reliable up until now. This is the first time I had ever used an online pharmacy and was quite cautious about ordering anything but I had checked on companies house and they were registered company and they have a pharmacist registration number. I phoned them and I also emailed them and they also answered any questions and since then they have delivered within a few days. I’m hoping to receive my order next week. Will let you know when I receive the order and if there’s any problem. I hope not!

You should ask your pharmacist about it if you are on the diabetes register Ie you have a diagnosis and they are charging VAT they should not be or they should provide you with the relevant form to claim for a VAT refund.
