Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I use mostly Extra Virgin olive oil for cooking and on salads. One bottle does all.
I'm trying out cold pressed Rapeseed oil because it is allegedly better for frying.
Seems OK.
I also add a little butter when cooking eggs.

For some reason there isn't usually any left over fat after cooking.
Mainly because I tend to pour it over the meal.
High fat, y'all. :)

I’ve been using Avocado oil for all my cooking needs, however it is expensive. I was going to try Rapeseed oil, but nutritionalist Sarah Flower in her book Eating to beat type2 diabetes said it was forbidden.... just shows sometimes you don’t know who to believe

I use a non stick teflon frypan for frying stuff...
My non stick frypan in action, just a bit of fat rendering off of the bacon to help cooking it.
