Best R-Alpha Lipoic Acic (R-ALA) for neuropathy?

Hi. I've recently been told I have peripheral neuropathy, and wish to try Alpha Lipoic Acid. I understand the R-type is best, but don't really know how much or which one to buy. Does anyone else use ALA, and can you recommend one to buy in the UK please?

I went to the i-herb.com website - it's in the US but it will deliver to the UK and the delivery is very fast eg within a week. I got the KAL R-Lipoic Acid 100mg vegetarian capsules. I've only just started taking it (less than a week) but I've read it's good for nerve pain which I have had for the last few months. Diazepam 2mg at night helped me nod off but did nothing for the spasms pain during the day. It did make me feel a bit spaced out (the D not the lipoic acid I mean).
